The credo for this hole is "just get something playable to the green." This uphill, challenging par four arguably has the toughest putting surface to hit on the whole course. The drive is fairly straightforward, playing into a small valley which will leave most players a mid to short iron into the green. Spraying the ball left or right is OK off of the tee but it will leave the player a challenging angle to a small opening.

The approach rises some 20-25 ft. from the fairway landing area and the green is surrounded by mounds which will throw errant approach shots aside and induce a tough bogey. A shot missed to the right of this small green is vulnerable to a wooded area which influences the balance of the back nine.

The reward on this hole comes to the player who finds the su rface in regulation. If you manage to hit the green, a real birdie attempt awaits. Be sure to pay attention while putting here, other foursomes will be on the tee at twelve, and many tee shots have been known to rattle the trees surrounding the eleventh.
